The
criteria for alumni awards is simply stated: outstanding accomplishment in one's chosen career field.
THE DISTINGUISHED ALUMNI AWARD is granted to a District 300 graduate or former student over the age
of 30 for significant accomplishments on ones profession or service to the community.
THE DISTINGUISHED YOUNG ALUMNI AWARD is granted to D300 graduates
or former students, age 30 or younger at time of nomination, for significant accomplishments or service to the community.
THE DISTINGUISHED FRIEND OF THE FOUNDATION AWARD
is granted to individuals who may not be alumni of District 300 but in recognition of specific and meritorious service on
behalf of the quality and advancement of D300 schools or the Foundation for Educational Excellence.
The selection committee wishes to ensure that it has the chance to review the broadest possible range of qualified
nominees. Thus, nominations are invited according to the following guidelines and in the above categories.
