Nomination Process
Each school in District 300 is encouraged to annually establish a nominating committee of no less than three certified
staff members to determine whether a nomination should be submitted. Should it be decided that a nomination is to be submitted;
the school nominating committee will complete and submit the application by the required date.
If a particularly meritorious nomination does not
reach award status in a given year, the foundation may ask the school to resubmit the (updated) nomination the following year.

are to be sent to The District 300 Foundation for Educational Excellence, 300 Cleveland Avenue, Carpentersville, IL 60110,
Attn: Linda Keyes. They are due at the Administration Center by February 26, 2010.
Selection Process
The Selection Committee will consist of no
less that five District 300 certified retirees and at least one member of the Board of Trustees of the District 300 Foundation
for Educational Excellence.
Presentation
The Foundation’s Distinguished District 300 Educator Award will be announced and presented at the annual Gala.
It will consist of a commemorative award and a monetary award.
