Dr.
Redmer is highly recognized as an educational leader through out the state of Illinois and Nationally in turn around schools.
She has been an educator, a principal, a mentor, the Director of Curriculum for all of District 300, and in retirement
her tireless efforts as a RESPRO Coach helping educators to move toward student-centered instruction and assessment.
She and her colleagues have been recognized by the NCLB conferences as ones to watch due to their continued
success in turn around efforts of schools. Her work extends beyond the halls of D300 schools.
She has worked as a volunteer with the Harvest Christian Academy to develop curriculum.
Not stopping at her leadership positions in education she served as a founder of the D300 Foundation. She
and her husband Jack are stewards of Raceway Woods. She served as Precinct Captain and on the Township
Cemetery Board.
The thousands of individuals that Dr. Redmer has been able to touch by assisting
in helping them to teach or to learn has significantly changed the face of a community.
