Description To see the detail in the tiling one needs
to click on one of the desks and see the children carefully placed on the top rung of the desk. The detailed charm in
this desk would make any owner proud to own this desk. It would look wonderful in a dentists office, a pediatricians
office, a favorite teachers school room, or a library.

Artists Statement:
If I can teach my students one thing in the course of their mosaic education, it is that there is
almost always a new way to use, explore and enjoy the beauty of something which might otherwise be thrown away. Every
piece I use has a history and a story to share. You only need an imagination and a good set of tools to bring it
to life!
About the Artist Diana Bodell has been doing creative things all of her life but mosaic art since 1999. She has exhibited her
work in galleries in the Chicago area, Ketchum, Idaho and Washington, D.C. She draws her inspiration from the works
of Antoni Gaudi in Barcelona, Niki de Saint Phalle and Raymond Isidore in France whose works practically defined the Pique
Assiette style of mosaic.
